Merwin Meadows Park

Near Wilton Center, the Town of Wilton manages a community park that began as family farm owned by the Merwin family. In 1969, the town became stewards of the park, after the land was purchased by the Wilton Community Park, Inc. in 1962, and opened the iconic pond as a recreational area in 1970. Merwin Meadows features a swimming pond, beach, pavilion/grills, bathhouse, playground, and athletic field.

While some park areas are open year round, the pond, beach, pavilion/grills, and bathhouse are open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.

Seasonal Passes

Park membership is required from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day during the hours lifeguards are on duty or 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. The Town of Wilton maintains a fee schedule for the season passes.

They also provide an online way to purchase Passes, and the passes can also be purchased at the Comstock Community Center, where the Parks and Recreation department maintains an office.
